How We Hire

Our process focuses on understanding how you solve problems and work with existing codebases. We're not interested in whiteboard puzzles or trick questions. The entire process usually takes two to three weeks from first contact to offer.

1

Initial Conversation

A 30-minute video call where we discuss your background, interests, and what you're looking for. This isn't a technical interview. We want to understand your experience with mobile game development and what kinds of projects get you excited. You'll talk with the lead developer who actually works on the games.

2

Technical Assignment

You'll get a small gameplay system to implement. It's similar to actual work you'd do here – maybe building a simple inventory system or creating enemy AI behavior. You have a week to complete it. We pay for your time on this regardless of whether we move forward. The assignment should take around 4-6 hours.

3
Code Review Discussion

We review your assignment together in a hour-long call. You explain your approach, we ask questions about specific decisions, and we discuss alternative solutions. This helps us see how you think about architecture and optimization. It's collaborative, not confrontational. We're evaluating communication as much as technical skills.

4
Team Fit Meeting

You meet a few team members in a casual video call. We talk about how we work, current projects, and answer any questions you have about daily operations. This helps both sides figure out if the working relationship makes sense. We're small enough that team dynamics really matter, so everyone has input on new hires.

Working Here

What You Should Know Before Applying

We're a focused team working on mobile games in genres we actually care about – Action, Adventure, RPG, FPS, Strategy, Simulation, Racing, and Arcade. The work involves deep technical challenges around mobile performance and gameplay systems. Here's what that looks like in practice.

Real Project Ownership

You'll own entire gameplay systems from design through implementation. When we say you're responsible for the combat system or progression mechanics, that means you make the key technical and design decisions. You'll get feedback, but you're not implementing someone else's specifications.

Flexible Work Setup

Remote work is standard. We have an office in Kalyan if you prefer working there, but most of the team works from home. Core hours are 11am-4pm for meetings and collaboration. Beyond that, manage your time however works best for you. Results matter more than hours logged.

Learning Budget

Annual budget for courses, conferences, or tools you need. We're working with evolving technology, so staying current matters. If there's a GDC talk you want to attend or a technical book that's relevant to your work, that's covered. Just clear it with your lead first.

Reasonable Crunch Policy

We ship games, which means occasional deadline pressure. But we plan releases around sustainable schedules. When crunch happens, it's short and compensated with time off afterward. We track hours to make sure nobody's consistently overworking. Burnout helps nobody.

Modern Development Tools

You get the hardware and software you need. MacBook Pro for iOS development, powerful Windows machines for Android testing, profiling tools, whatever helps you work efficiently. Our budget goes toward making development smooth, not fancy office perks.

Direct Communication

Small team means you work directly with everyone. No layers of management or lengthy approval processes. If you need to discuss a technical decision with the art lead or talk about scope with the producer, you just do that. Decisions happen quickly because communication paths are short.
